Written by on January 21, 2020

“Would you like to take part in a free community art project where you with be provided with the support and resources to create your own poems and unique pieces of art?

It’s no secret that partaking in the arts can help improve your mood and overall wellbeing and when facilitated within the community it can also help you meet new people and make new friends that’s why Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, Neil Butterworth and Kerry Briggs from Support for Success have joined forces to offer several poetry and painting workshops, as part of a community arts project in Foxwood.

The ten-week project will then conclude with an exciting celebration and showcase of the work produced at Foxwood Community Centre, 12-1 pm on the 31st of March; The celebration is open to all, however, we do advise you reserve a place at the celebration, using the contact details below.

The workshops will be run in a friendly and supportive way and previous attendees of some of Kerry previous sessions have commented on the positive and inspiring but also relaxed nature of her sessions.
