Coxwold Village Market – March 2020
Coxwold Village Market
|Date:||March 28, 2020|
|Location:||Coxwold Village Market|
|Address:||Coxwold Village Hall|
Into its second year, the Coxwold Village Market is a food and craft market founded on a passion for the community, supporting independent businesses and the provenance of produce. Held the picturesque village of Coxwold in the foothills of the White Horse, the market takes place on the last Saturday of each month 10am – 1pm March – November, with a Christmas market on Sunday 20th December.
Start your culinary feast at the market with freshly baked bread, followed by legendary pork pies or locally reared meat. Dine on homemade sweet tarts and cakes, and finish with cheese from far and wide with pickles, chutney or honey as the perfect accompaniment. Wash the whole thing down with gin, cider and ales from local distillers. Stallholders at the market range from Florists, Bee Keepers, Fromagers and Card Makers to Garden Plant Growers, Butchers, Bakers, Jewellers and Wooden Craft Creators, along with everything in between. It is a hive of talent and inspiration where you can find all you need to fill your fridge, cupboards, present drawer and pet’s tummy! Skip your visit to the supermarket, come and see the delights we have on offer and support our local businesses.
After perusing the stalls, visit the Market Café for breakfast, brunch or even a light lunch! Offering an indulgent and mouth-watering menu, along with freshly brewed coffee, delicious pots of tea and herbal tisanes, it’s the perfect place to refresh after a morning’s shopping.
With live entertainment, raffles and delicious, local food how can you not be tempted? Pop along to our next Market in beautiful Coxwold!
