Halloween is going to be even more fun this year with York Mumbler. The team have created a fun, free Goblin trail at Rowntree Park for families in York this October half term.
Once upon a time a smelly, green Goblin was walking through the forest. A pine cone fell on his head and knocked him out. When he woke up he couldn’t remember his name. A friendly, purple and orange beetle scurried up to him to ask if he was ok?
‘No’, said the Goblin, ‘I’ve lost my name’.
‘Well’, said the beetle, ‘why don’t you go and find your friends hidden in this wood, they might be able to give you some clues’.
Can you help the smelly green Goblin find his friends at Rowntree Park to help him remember his name?
With things to spot and quiz questions to answer along the way this free, safe trail is ideal for families looking for something a bit different this Halloween. Developed with Holly at Yorkshire Brand Stories, and thanks to sponsorship from Little Green Rascals, they have created a series of spooky themed Goblin houses for children to spot and collect clues to complete the trail. The original Goblin houses have been constructed using found materials and are brightly painted and decorated to stand out to children. As well as helping the Goblin to find his friends there is lots of other fun Goblin themed activities for kids on the York Mumbler website.
