On Christmas Eve – December 24th - there will be Crib Services suitable for children and adults at 3.00pm and 4.30pm. Midnight Mass will be celebrated at 11.00pm with the Archbishop of York, The Most Reverend Stephen Cottrell, in attendance.
All ages will be welcomed to celebrate Christmas at Selby Abbey commencing on Sunday 18th December at 6.30pm with the magical ‘Carols by Candlelight’ – a traditional Service of Nine Lessons and Carols with Selby Abbey Choir. Entry is free and no pre-booking is required.

On Christmas morning there will be Holy Communion at 8.00am and a Sung Eucharist with Selby Abbey Choir at 10.00am.
All denominations and ages will be warmly welcomed to the above – warm clothing is recommended.
