North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information following an assault that occurred on Lawrence Street.
It happened at 6.20pm on Tuesday 28 November 2023. A group of men were aggressive and abusive towards a delivery driver before one of them assaulted him.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. He was interviewed and released under investigation.
Police are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, officers are appealing for information, witnesses, and CCTV footage of the incident.
