CCTV appeal following bicycle theft in York

North Yorkshire Police have issued this image of two people we would like to speak to following a bicycle theft on Jockey Lane, York.

It happened between 2pm and 2.30pm on Monday 6 May, the bicycle was taken from the bike racks at Sainsbury’s on Jockey Lane, York.

The bicycle, pictured below, is a black modified ‘GTWA’ electric bike fitted with a ‘Frog’ battery behind the seat.

Have you seen this bicycle, been offered it for sale or do you know where it is now?

Please contact us if you recognise the people pictured on CCTV, as they may have information that will assist our investigation.
