Police in York are investigating a suspected stabbing incident which left a 27-year-old local man with a serious leg injury.
It happened at an address on Garden Street, in the Bootham area of the city, at around 5.40am on Wednesday (3 January 2024).
A 54-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both from York, have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
Following questioning, they have been released on conditional bail while enquiries are ongoing.
The 27-year-old old man is in a serious but stable condition at hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Witnesses and anyone with information, relevant doorbell or dashcam footage are urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 4, and speak to the Force Control Room.
