Wallet taken during robbery in York - Have you seen anything?

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information after a robbery that occurred in York city centre.

It happened on Bootham at 11.50am on Wednesday 21 December 2022.

During the incident the victim's wallet was stolen; the victim fell to the ground and suffered minor injuries.

North Yorkshire Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his thirties with a pale and gaunt complexion. He was wearing a camouflage jacket and a dark beanie hat. He left the area on a bicycle.
