The excitement is building for this weekend’s return of York Residents' Festival!

Organised by Make It York, York Residents' Festival returns on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January 2025. The weekend offers York residents exclusive offers, free entry to attractions and unique experiences across to explore the city and the surrounding areas.  

New offers continue to be added, including discounts at independent shops and opportunities to join walking tours. 

For art lovers, explore local and regional art with 10% off prints and canvas artwork at Lucy Pittaway, plus 20% off everything, including records, books and art at Pitch 22

Experience Yorkshire’s wicked history on a spellbindingly unique walking tour with 10% off York Witches and History Walking Tour. For a rare opportunity,York Medical Society is opening its doors to welcome visitors to have a look around the medical instruments museum and secret city centre garden.

Don't miss out - How to take part 

To take advantage of the offers, residents must present a valid York Card, student card or identity card that proves a York residency. If presenting an identity card, this must clearly state 'York' (e.g. driving licence or older person's bus pass). 

The York Card is available to all who live or work within the York area. The York Card costs £6 for adult residents or £10 for non-residents who work in the city, and free to children and young people up to the age of 18. It's valid for 12 months and is available to purchase as a digital card online or at any Explore library.
