Appeal following collision in York

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision which happened near Knapton.

It happened at approximately 5.20pm on Monday 06 May on Moor Lane near to the junction with the A1237.

Two cars were involved, a black Volkswagen Tiguan and a grey Mini Cooper. Following the collision, three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries. One vehicle was recovered from a hedge at the side of the road. 

The road was closed for a short time to allow recovery and investigation work to take place.

The Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
