
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after an attempted burglary in Barlby near Selby.
It happened on West View just after midnight in the early hours of Friday 21 February when the suspect climbed onto a garage roof of a property.
It’s believed the suspect was disturbed by the owner of the house and left the scene.
The police are appealing to anyone who may have seen suspicious vehicles, people or activity in West View on the night of 20 February into the early hours of 21 February to get in touch.
The police are also asking anyone with private CCTV or doorbell cameras to review their footage and get in touch if they have captured any suspicious people on camera to get in touch.
