CCTV appeal after assault and damage in York taxi

North Yorkshire Police have released CCTV stills of two men they want to speak to after a violent incident in York city centre.

It happened at 2.20am on 28 July 2024, on Piccadilly, and involved four men in a taxi. The taxi driver was assaulted and damage caused to the inside of the vehicle.

The police are particularly appealing for information about two men pictured on CCTV, as they may have important information that could assist our investigation.
