CCTV appeal following cycle theft in York

North Yorkshire Police have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to speak to following a cycle theft in York City centre.

It happened at York Minster at approximately 11am on Saturday 21 October 2023 and involved a suspect, who is believed to be a man, removing a lock and stealing a pedal bike.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image as it’s believed that they will have information that will help the investigation.
