CCTV appeal following York assault

Police in York have issued CCTV of men they would like to speak to following a serious assault in York city centre.

At around 11pm on Saturday 19 August 2023 a tourist was assaulted by a man on Parliament Street.

The victim was taken to hospital and received medical attention for his injuries.

Police are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the people in the images as they could have information that will help the investigation.
