CCTV appeals following multiple shop thefts at York’s Give the Dog a Bone gift shop

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following several shop thefts at the same gift shop in York.

They happened at the Give the Dog a Bone gift shop on Fossgate. The Police are releasing CCTV images of individuals they would like to speak to in connection with these incidents, as they may have information to assist the investigations.

Incident Details:

  • 9 December 2024, 3.03pm involving the theft of stock worth £120.95. Reference: 12240224964 (male in hat pictured with female with blonde hair, and dark haired female with black puffer jacket)
  • 11 December 2024, 4.28pm involving the theft of stock worth £35.98. Reference: 12240226070 (female in white coat and dark top)
  • 14 December 2024, 2.08pm involving the theft of stock worth £14.99. Reference: 12240229976 (male in puffer jacket).
  • 21 December 2024, 1.45pm involving the theft of stock worth £24.99. Reference: 12240232915 (female in white coat and white top)
  • 23 December 2024, 12.13pm involving the theft of stock worth £22.99. Reference: 12240233561 (female in black leather jacket)
