North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about an assault that occurred in Selby town centre.
It happened at 2.45pm on Sunday 9 February 2025, on Finkle Street, and involved a man with a child, and a woman having a physical altercation.
The child sustained minor injuries to his ear as a result of the altercation.
A man has been arrested and bailed with conditions following the incident.
The police are particularly appealing for information about any witnesses, or anyone who may have video footage of the incident.
