North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a farm burglary that occurred in Heslington, York.

Items including a 16ft flat-bed Ifor Williams trailer, a wacka-plate, multiple reels of electrical cables and a welder were taken.

It happened on Common Lane between midday on Saturday, 7 October and midday on Wednesday, 11 October.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, officers are appealing for information from anyone who has seen the items or noticed a suspicious vehicle with a trailer.
