A man was unconscious on High Ousegate in York's downtown when Yorkshire Ambulance Service called the police at 7:50 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Officers have attended and a scene is in place to establish the circumstances around the incident.
The man has been taken to York District Hospital for further treatment.
