Taxi driver threatened in York

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about a road rage incident that occurred in York.

It happened at 11.20am on Monday 06 May 2024 on Crombie Avenue and ended on Wigginton Road near the first roundabout entrance to York District Hospital.

A man who was driving a Ford Mondeo followed a taxi before proceeding to make verbal threats and damaging the taxi.

The area was busy with other motorists and members of the public at the time and we’re now appealing for any witnesses or road users that may have dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
