Following a stabbing incident at an address on Cornlands Road in York at around 12 noon on Saturday (15 February 2025), the police are urgently appealing for information and sightings to help locate the suspect.
Brandon Oliver, 25, from York, is believed to be still in the city.
The incident was reported by the ambulance service who were called to help a man who had suffered a serious stab wound to a leg. He is currently being treated in hospital.
The suspect and the victim know each other. The police are not aware of any threats to the wider public, but they strongly advise people not to approach the suspect if they see him.
Oliver is described as white, bald head, stubble facial hair, medium build, and he was last seen wearing a full grey tracksuit (possibly Nike), and black trainers.
