York: Have you seen 13-year-old boy Malique?

Urgent searches and enquiries are ongoing for a missing 13-year-old boy in the York area.

Malique last seen waiting for the 415 bus to York at a bus stop at Escrick at 6.45pm on Monday (2 September 2024).

He has links to various locations in the York area as well as in Leeds.

British Transport Police and West Yorkshire Police are supporting the missing person investigation.

North Yorkshire Police are urging people to come forward if you think you have seen Malique or have any information about where he is.

He is described as black, slim build, around 5ft 4ins tall and he currently has Afro style hair.

He may be wearing a black Puffa-style jacket with a fur hood, black tracksuit bottoms and black sliders on his feet.

If you can help, please call North Yorkshire Police as soon as possible on 101, select option 4, and speak to the Force Control Room.

For immediate sightings, dial 999 so we can quickly make sure Malique is safe.
