A RETAIL giant with two large York stores said no decision has yet been taken on the future of its city shops.

As previously reported Marks & Spencer, which has shops in York city centre and at Vangarde, is planning to close one in four of its biggest stores selling cloths and home goods as its plan to tackle a “difficult economic backdrop” ramps up.
