As The Press reported earlier today Fulford School, Archbishop Holgate's CE, All Saints RC and Sherburn High all landed a place in the top ten state schools in the north
with Fulford in second and Archbishop Holgate's in fifth, as shown in the Parent Power, The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2024.
In addition Fulford School has been named Comprehensive School of the Year in the North and Queen Ethelburga’s College, at Thorpe Underwood is the North’s Independent Secondary School of the Year for Academic Excellence.
