THE brother of a 19-year-old man whose body was recovered from a York river described him as “kind" and "cherished by his family".
Taymoor Hassan's body was sadly recovered from the River Foss in York on Thursday afternoon (December 5) after he had been reported missing the day before.
North Yorkshire Police said there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
Taymoor's elder brother, Tayyab Shahzada, has today (Sunday, December 8) shared a heartfelt tribute to him.
In a statement issued to The Press' sister publication the Telegraph & Argus, he said Taymoor, from Bradford, was a student at the University of York.
