The news was revealed on Griffo in the Morning, on 27th October 2022, following an interview on the show with General Manager of the Barbican, Sam Ryder.
This brand-new partnership means that announcements of big names coming to York Barbican will be heard on YO1 Radio first, it will bring exclusive interviews with the stars to YO1 Radio and our Live Lounge - and there will be loads of chances to win exclusive tickets and other prizes as part of big competitions on YO1 Radio and online.
Wayne Chadwick, Managing Director of YO1 Radio said: “We are absolutely thrilled at the new partnership with York Barbican.
