Proud to support our local teams…

YO1 Radio is very proud to support our local sporting teams.

We have an active media partnership with York City FC, we've worked with the York City FC Foundation to enhance their School Visits Programme and are delighted to support both York RLFC Knights and York RLFC Valkyrie.

Those close working partnerships allow us to bring you exclusive interviews and content – and we’re developing a new set of initiatives to bring you even more content from behind the scenes at both clubs – including a new series of podcasts coming soon.

Of course, it’s not just about football and rugby – we’re happy to support the cause across the whole range of local sports. We are proud to be the Official Media Partner for the 2023 York Sports Awards -  and we’d love to hear from you if you’re involved with any kind of local sports team.

YO1 Radio brings you daily on-air updates of local sport every hour, on the half-hour from 6 am to 9 am, and 4 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday and from 7 am to 11 am on a Saturday.
