Darragh O'Connor joins Falkirk on loan for remainder of the season

York City confirmed that defender Darragh O’Connor will depart on loan to Falkirk for the remainder of the season.

The 25-year-old has made just four competitive appearances for the Minstermen since signing from Greenock Morton, with an injury limiting his playing time.

Having recently recovered from his setback, O’Connor will now head back across the border to Scottish Championship side Falkirk to regain fitness and get some more minutes in the tank.

Our trip to Gainsborough Trinity in the Isuzu FA Trophy last week saw the centre-back make his first City appearance off the bench since early September.

The Bairns currently sit top of the league, and will be looking to make it consecutive promotions, under the guidance of John McGlynn.
