The Robins travelled to Lancashire to take on Barnoldswick, who sit a league above Selby, and a last-second goal from the hosts saw Selby lose the fixture. Despite the result, Town’s excellent second-half performance meant that a loss wasn’t a fair reflection on their efforts, and they will be hoping to get a better result when they face 9th-placed Wakefield AFC in the league at the weekend.
