York City FC Men's side traveled to top-of-the-table Wrexham for a National League fixture, and lost 3-0.

A Ryan Whitley own goal put Wrexham ahead on the stroke of half-time, before two late goals from Sam Dalby and Elliot Lee finished the game off and made sure that the Minstermen would travel back to North Yorkshire with no points.

Mikey Morton's men sit in eighteenth place in the National League, five points and three positions ahead of the relegation zone.

However, with several teams below them having games in hand, City will need to secure some points in the league, starting with a relegation six pointer against Scunthorpe next week.
