York City Ladies travelled to the North East to face Newcastle in a league match, and came out on the losing end of a 4-2 score-line.
The Minsterbelles put on a strong showing against a strong Newcastle side, who sit second in the Women’s National League Division One North.

Holly Findlay’s early opener was cancelled out by two Newcastle goals, before Alice Hughes levelled to make it 2-2 just before the half time whistle.

However, two second half goals from Newcastle meant City would travel back to North Yorkshire with a loss.
