York Valkyrie captured their first Betfred Women's Super League Grand Final title earlier this month thanks to a 16-6 win over reigning champions Leeds Rhinos at the LNER Community Stadium.
Victory for the Valkyrie ensured they became the first sports team from York to win a top-flight league title!
Lindsay Anfield's side also secured a second successive League Leaders' Shield in 2023, a new record in the BWSL.

York RLFC will like to encourage supporters to gather from 5.45pm on Thursday on the banks of the River Ouse in front of the York City Rowing Club by Lendal Bridge.
York Valkyrie's players, coaching staff and sponsors will parade the BWSL Grand Final trophy and their medals from the City Cruises boat, which will pass supporters at around 6pm - 6.15pm.
