York Valkyrie will be paid from the start of the 2023 season, it has been revealed by York RLFC Chairman Clint Goodchild.

After their incredible season last time out, winning two out of the four available trophies, Goodchild has announced that the Ladies will be paid to play for the club as professionals.

York Valkyrie will be paid from the start of the 2023 season, it has been revealed by York RLFC Chairman Clint Goodchild.

After their incredible season last time out, winning two out of the four available trophies, Goodchild has announced that the Ladies will be paid to play for the club as professionals.

The Valkyrie are in the midst of their pre-season at the moment, and are back in action on the 23rd April in the Challenge Cup.
