Virtual balloon race over the Sahara Desert

In lieu of holding the Thirsk CP Annual Summer Fayre, the members of the PTA will hold a virtual balloon race over the Sahara Desert, this will launch on Saturday 8th August at 12pm.

To buy a balloon at a cost of £3 each (no max numbers to purchase) please visit

Here you can purchase a balloon, customise it in different colours, adding names etc. The balloon flight takes 7 days and winners will be notified by email.

Prizes include:

£500 cash

Ipad tablet

10 x £10 book tokens as well as other prizes.

A percentage of this donation comes back into school funds where we are looking at replacing several smartboards within classrooms as unfortunately ours are over 10 years old.
