Appeal following a road traffic collision in Selby

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision on the A63 between Brayton and Wishingwell roundabout at Selby.

It happened just before 9am on Wednesday 11 September and involved a Ford Fiesta car and a Ford Transit van. Just before the collision, a blue BMW X3 had overtaken multiple vehicles but the BMW did not remain on the scene. Officers are now keen to speak to this driver.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended and treated both occupants of the Fiesta and Transit van for minor injuries.

The police are appealing for the BMW driver to come forward to speak to the police, for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
