YO1 Radio’s main studios are currently located at Clifton Moor – although soon we’ll be moving to some shiny new studios nearer to the centre of York.

However, there is no substitute for being at the very heart of the community we serve.

That’s why YO1 Radio’s Live Lounge Studios are so important to us.

They’re located on Goodramgate, right in the heart of York City Centre – and they bring us a high-profile and convenient location for a whole host of uses!

We can broadcast ‘live’ from the 'Live Lounge'. We can use the studio for recording programmes and interviews. We can – and regularly do – host live music performances for shows such as our Sunday Evening ‘Live Lounge’ local music show.

We bring celebrity interviews to the heart of the city. We can put together our expanding portfolio of podcasts and other local interviews. We can get you the very latest information about what’s happening in the City via our high-impact digital TV screens.

Most of all, though, we can interact with you!
