Appeal following assault outside Sainsburys on Foss Bank in York

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about an assault that occurred in York City Centre.

It happened around 3.30pm on Tuesday 27 August 2024 outside Sainsburys on Foss Bank in York.

The victim sustained injuries to his head and neck.

The police are appealing for information about the suspect, who is described as around 70-years-old, large build, short grey hair, and wearing glasses.

He was believed to have been wearing a blue or turquoise t-shirt and possibly wearing shorts.
