ONE of North Yorkshire’s top chefs has taken on a new role at a popular York restaurant.

• An historic building in York’s Coney Street is on the market after plans to turn it into a Hard Rock Cafe and hotel fell through.

  The former TK Maxx site, which fronts onto Coney Street and Market Street, comes with a £5.5 million price tag – and is thought to be one of the most expensive properties marketed in York this year.
