A former rugby league player Kevin Sinfield is going to run seven ultra-marathons in seven days to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease.

He will be running around 260 miles throughout the week with his planned route seeing him running through York, setting off from the Minster next Friday.

He will be running around 260 miles throughout the week with his planned route seeing him running through York, setting off from the Minster next Friday.

Sinfield was inspired by his former Leeds Rhinos teammate Rob Burrow who is living with the disease.

So far the rugby league legend has raised over 2.5 million pounds.
