The Minsterbelles travelled to Northumberland to face Ponteland United at the weekend, and were able to pull of a comfortable 3-1 win.

And York City Ladies have progressed in the FA cup. The Minsterbelles travelled to Northumberland to face Ponteland United at the weekend, and were able to pull of a comfortable 3-1 win. An Alice Hughes brace and a late Jess Holder header sealed the victory, a victory that sees the Ladies progressing and reaching the first round of the women’s FA Cup for the first time in their history. Next weekend will see another cup fixture, with York travelling to Middlesborough for a League Cup fixture.
