The Minsterbelles put in a strong performance at the Map Group UK Stadium, but it wasn’t to be on the day as they crashed out of the competition.

York City Ladies fell to a 2-0 defeat against Middlesbrough in the FA Women’s National League Cup yesterday.

The Minsterbelles put in a strong performance at the Map Group UK Stadium, but it wasn’t to be on the day as they crashed out of the competition.

York’s full focus will be on the league now, with a big fixture against Newcastle on Sunday to concentrate on.
