Hollie Dodd, Grace Field, Tara-Jane Stanley and Olivia Wood – each of the four Valkyrie representatives in the squad.

York Valkyrie stars have been included in the England Women’s Squad ahead of their first Rugby League World Cup match against Brazil. Hollie Dodd, Grace Field, Tara-Jane Stanley and Olivia Wood – each of the four Valkyrie representatives in the squad – have been selected in the preliminary nineteen-player squad and could take to the field at Headingley Stadium. The match would mark a World Cup debut for Stanley, Field and Dodd, who will be hoping to impress on the world stage.

England are in a group A with Canada and Papua New Guinea.

Group A semi-finals, will be played as a double-header at the LNER Community Stadium on Monday 14th November.
