York Clinch Playoff Spot with Gritty Victory Over Featherstone

York capped off their regular season in a hard-fought, nail-biting showdown, edging Featherstone 16-6 in a contest that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Despite falling behind just three minutes into the game, York showed their determination and resilience, shutting down Featherstone's attack for the remainder of the match.

The contest remained finely balanced until the final five minutes when York skipper Liam Harris weaved through a tiring Featherstone defence to score his second try of the match, securing the victory and home advantage for York in the playoffs.

With the win, York now look ahead to a pivotal playoff match this Saturday, followed by the Valkyrie’s Grand Final the next day – setting the stage for an exciting weekend of rugby league action in York.
