North Yorkshire Police are appealing for any information relating to a shed being broken into overnight on Wednesday 9 April at a property on West End Close, North Duffield.

Artworks telling the story of York’s medieval history could be installed in the city’s snickelways as part of wider efforts to revive them.
Plans lodged with City of York Council would see 11 artworks themed around lost churches, markets and other parts of medieval life in the city displayed in seven of its snickelways.

Yorkshire’s iconic Bettys is to launch evening dining in York and Harrogate.
The extended offering starts on Friday May 2 and will be available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm to 9pm. Evening dining is available both to walk in customers and by reservation.

Police are investigating incidents in York's most famous street.
North Yorkshire Police has two cordons in place in Shambles this morning (April 15). Officers were at the scene investigating damage at both the Shambles Tavern and Monk Bar Chocolatiers.
